OUR MISSION
To improve relationships between young adults and parents, family, and friends in order to prevent a mental crisis in youth and young adults.
Our world is much different than those of us who grew up in the 70’s, 80’s and even 90’s. There is so much negativity from social media and other sources that make it difficult for a lot of youth and young adults to function normally. Social media also allows easy access to our youth.
Too often our youth turn to suicide or violence as a result of unresolved issues which leads to a worsening mental crisis.
People in general are more susceptible to other inputs when they are down, usually on social media or from an AI source. While our organization is faith based, we want to educate everyone on how to avoid a mental crisis.
A mental crisis can impact anyone. It can escalate from any of the following: Heightened Stress, Anxiety, Cyberbullying, Bullying, Peer and Social Pressure, Depression, Academic Pressure, Alcohol, Drugs, Sleep Deprivation, Economic Status, Isolation, Family Issues, Mental Disorder, Cognitive Impairments, Learning Disabilities. Our middle school and high school aged youth and young adults face issues daily.
The human body and brain must develop coping skills by the early 20’s to function normally in life. The ability for coping skills is directly impacted during childhood. People do not just snap, usually there is a build up over time that leads to one large outburst or event such as self-harm, suicide and/or physically attacking others.
