Your child and young adults are exposed to the world at home, online, and at school. There are terrorist groups and others who wish to see the USA in turmoil and civil war. They are our enemies.
HOME
On-Line: Our enemies use online platforms to attack our country and our youth. Most of the news on social platforms is fake. AI is also a problem. I keep reminding everyone to watch Terminator again, so they see what a mistake AI is in a social setting. AI does have potential benefits in the word of medicine. Platforms include but not limited to X Chat GPT has already resulted in the suicide of a young man who confided in the AI platform how he felt vs talking to his parents or a counselor. Cyberbullying is another big problem on social media. There is so much evil out there and people that will encourage others to kill themselves. After the Charlie Kirk assassination, this evil was widely seen on social media.
SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Texas has a program called the behavioral threat assessment program and each campus has a team. The purpose is to identify students who may be going through a mental crisis and to get them help before it escalates into suicide or a school shooting.

RADICALIZATION
To become radicalized is to undergo a process of adopting extreme beliefs and ideologies that support violence, terrorism, or other actions that violate societal norms and human rights. This process often involves being recruited or influenced by extremist groups or individuals, frequently through online platforms, and can be driven by factors such as a need for social anxiety, identity and belonging, feelings of disenfranchisement, or personal distress Do not be radicalized by hate or what you see on social media. Social media is a cancer. Most of the content is not true and negative. China, Russia, our own people in the USA and terrorist have campaigns on social media and promote hate, evil and controversy in our country.
